Introduction

Hello, and welcome!

I’m Scott, 50% engineering manager and 50% lead engineer. I’ve spent 15 years in the tech industry so far, so I sometimes have useful things to share. That’s what this website is for.

I took a brief interest in futures and forex trading, so you will see smatterings of that on this site too.

I’d like to give a shout-out and a huge thank-you to my close friend Neil Kidd for his post Build a website with Gitlab, Hugo and Academic, and for all of his help with setting this website up.
